Instructions
- Mark 155mm from rear roof seam per photo to inside of Roof Vent adapter Ring. Clean roof with windex around where the roof ring will go. With adapter ring pressed into roof with 155mm mark on the inside of the ring, draw around the rest of the inside of the ring with a Sharpie.
- With an 1/8 drill bit, drill a hole a little inside of the circle you have drawn on the roof and follow it up with a small step drill that takes the hole just outside of the line you drew.
- With the body saw starting from the hole you just drilled, carefully saw around the outside of the circule you just drew. The ring is pretty wide so this doens't need to be super accurate but ideally it is cut just around the outside of the line you drew.
- With the 90 degree sander start by going around the inside of the circle you just cut at 90 degrees. Once that is cleaned up then go around the inside and outside to take any burr that is left being careful to not take more than an 1/8 inch of paint off from the edge of the circle.
- Clean the area from the cut out about an inch with wax and grease remover. Do it a couple of times changing the towel betwen cleans to prevent just smearing around whatever is there.
- Once it's clean and dry, use the one-step primer with a wool dauber to paint the bare metal and go in between an 1/8 to 3/16 both on the inside and outside of the body.
