Quick Reference
- Hole is 160mm from rear body seam and 55mm above body line where bumper cover starts
- Holesaw size is 50mm
Instructions
- Locate hole 160mm forward of seam in front of driver rear wheel well and 55mm up from the plastic cladding along the bottom of the driver side. See Photo A
- Drill ⅛ pilot hole followed by a 50mm (2”) hole saw. Be super careful with the holesaw as if it slipped it would scratch up the side of the van in a big way.
- Clean up the edges with a file so they aren't super sharp
- Clean the edge and out about an inch with wax and grease remover. Use a clean paper towel and refold a couple of times to make sure that you aren’t smearing whatever is there around and wiping it off instead. Once wax and grease is dry prime the area with the one step primer and a wool dauber. Ideally you can do many things with the one dauber at one time like the toilet vent, AC vents, heater floor hole, roof holes, etc. See photo B
- Once the primer is dry you can use a thin layer of clear silicone sealant under both sides of the rubber gasket. See photo C
- Mount using 4 self drilling screws (#8×3/4 pan head) See photo D
- On the inside cut off the end of the cable and strip back the wire
- Crimp on the middle size Andersen Crimps on each of the 3 wires. Slide White, Grey, and Black Andersen covers on and slid together in the following way. (photo)
- Slide roll pins into holes to hold Andersen connectors together (photo)
