Quick Reference

  • Hole is 170mm from rear body seam and 55mm above body line where bumper cover starts
  • Holesaw size is 45mm

Instructions

  • Locate hole 170mm forward from rear body seam and 55mm above body line where bumper cover starts on the lower back corner of the driver side of the van. See photo A
  • Drill ⅛ pilot hole followed by a 45mm (1 ⅝”) hole saw. Be super careful with the holesaw as if it slipped it would scratch up the side of the van in a big way. See photo B
  • Clean up the edges with a file so they aren't super sharp
  • Clean the edge and out about an inch with wax and grease remover. Use a clean paper towel and refold a couple of times to make sure that you aren’t smearing whatever is there around and wiping it off instead. Once wax and grease is dry prime the area with the one step primer and a wool dauber. Ideally you can do many things with the one dauber at one time like the toilet vent, AC vents, heater floor hole, roof holes, etc.
  • Once the primer is dry you can use the 3M 6310 2-part glue on the back of the toilet vent. Make a bead around the backside that is about 3/16. Press the toilet vent down onto the van and be careful not to press too hard and have more than a little of the glue squeeze out. You can use some green or blue tape to hold it in place while it dries. It takes around 20 minutes to dry. See photo C
  • Once the glue is dry you can slide the cover on and your done!
